Madman Silencio
Sometimes dem call me a madman
but I see me self as sikarus
as Kamau in him
           video style, Sycorax

Writing me own ting
trying to stay mellow
rocking acapella rhymes
like Nas on track 8 of Illmatic

Lyrically flowing and inhaling
the concrete street, blue crab
and coconuts along buttonwood bay
boulevard, breathing in humidity,
mangroves and cool breeze

Exhaling salt, perspiring
as I stroll along seashore drive
to settle with the sunset
and sea

Walking in me own urban jungle,
this small city, submerged,
a submarine
