About Us

Apalachee Review is committed to providing a platform for emerging and established writers alike, with the goal of presenting the best in contemporary writing and promoting a vibrant literary culture. Because the Apalachee Review is a literary journal based in the panhandle of Florida, the work of writers from the region will always hold a special place in each issue. However, we also value and welcome submissions from writers all over the country and the world. Our goal is to amplify underrepresented voices, foster community, and inspire a deeper engagement with language and storytelling.
